Nigerians In Diaspora To Gather In Cleveland For Unity, Nation Building

Cleveland, Ohio – THE NEWSHAUS– The Diaspora Organisation Americas (NiDOA) has announced its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and World Conference, set to take place from November 22nd to 24th in Cleveland, Ohio.

The event, themed “New Nigeria: Fresh Progress, Vision for United NiDO,” aims to foster unity among Nigerians living abroad and strengthen their contributions to national development.

Dr. Victor Ubani, Continental Chair of NiDOA and Coordinating Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NiDO) Worldwide, emphasised the crucial role Nigerians in the diaspora play in nation building.

He stated that the conference serves as a call to action for all Nigerians living abroad to come together as a united force.

“This year’s AGM offers vistas for us to reunite as big diaspora family,” said Dr. Ubani.

Prominent guests at the conference include Mr. Wole Oke, Chairman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Mr. Tochukwu Okere, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Matters, and Amb. Gabriel Aduda, Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and current OPEC Governor for Nigeria.

Dr. Ubani highlighted the importance of Nigerians working together to contribute their expertise and resources to the nation’s progress.

He stressed that participation in the conference is crucial for achieving meaningful growth in Nigeria.
