Peter Obi Celebrates Prof. Ozekhome’s 67th Birthday And Release Of 50 Books
Abuja, THE NEWSHAUS – Labour Party presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, joined a distinguished gathering yesterday to celebrate the 67th birthday and the release of 50 books by renowned legal luminary Professor Mike Ozekhome SAN.
Obi, in a statement posted on his verified X account, described the event as a remarkable occasion, commending Prof. Ozekhome’s “indelible mark” on the Nigerian legal landscape.
He praised the jurist’s 50-volume body of work as a testament to his “intellectual prowess, relentless pursuit of truth, and dedication to the rule of law.”
The statement further hailed ProF. Ozekhome as a beacon of hope in a time of uncertainty, highlighting his unwavering fight for the oppressed and championing the cause of the downtrodden.
Obi described the legal scholar’s work as “transcending mere legal practice,” representing a legacy of courage, integrity, and a relentless fight for a just and equitable society.
“His books are not only scholarly works but also a reflection of his life’s mission to uphold the dignity of humanity and protect the sanctity of Nigeria’s Constitution,” Obi’s statement concluded.
