Tinubu, Dangote To Headline Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit
ABUJA, NIGERIA – The Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit, scheduled for November 5-7 in Abuja, is set to attract over 2,000 participants with President Bola Tinubu and business magnate Alhaji Aliko Dangote confirmed as headline speakers.
This announcement came during a pre-event press briefing by the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.
She emphasised the importance of the event, stating that the presence of President Tinubu as the special guest of honour highlights the government’s commitment to engaging with the Diaspora and their contributions.
“We are excited to have Alhaji Aliko Dangote as our guest speaker on the first day,” Dabiri-Erewa revealed. “His vast experience and success in the Nigerian business landscape will provide valuable insights to participants.”
The second day will feature a keynote address by Mr. John Olajide, adding further expertise to the event.
Beyond the key speakers, the summit will also feature personalities from the entertainment industry, including Richard Mofe-Damijo.
This year’s summit will focus on key sectors driving investment and growth in Nigeria, including Finance, ICT, Fintech, Creative Industries, Sports and Entertainment, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate and Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Mining.
Dabiri-Erewa assured attendees that the summit will offer “insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and actionable strategies to harness the potential of the Nigerian Diaspora.”
She also expressed confidence that this year’s summit will build upon the success of previous events, attracting even more investment to the country.
The hybrid event will welcome 500 participants and exhibitors, alongside a large online audience, for a comprehensive look at the opportunities and challenges of investing in Nigeria.
