Oniba Resigns As RTEAN Lagos State Chairman
Oba (Dr.) Sulaimon Raji Adesina has resigned as the Lagos State chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN).
This is made known in a statement issued by his personal media aide, Olalere Samuel Owoseni (SAMGRIN) on Sunday.
“For personal reasons, I have tendered my resignation as chairman of RTEAN Lagos State today,” the statement read in part.
Adesina, who became the chairman of RTEAN in an election held earlier in the year, was the acting chairman of defunct LASPAGA.
Under his watch, the road union had seen remarkable development as more graduates were employed and sanity was restored in a union that’s labelled for riot-causing.
“I am grateful to God for all I have been able to achieve within the period I have used as the chairman. I will face other things, particularly my Kingdom,” the statement further stated.
