Speaking in Ibadan to candidates writing Post UTME at the Centre, Adebowale urged them to take advantage of the DLC’s flexible learning opportunities, which combine online and offline instruction.

Adebowale’s assurance demonstrates UI’s commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities for all students, regardless of mode of study.

“There will be no distinction between DLC students and those on the main campus; they will have access to the same level of education, resources, and opportunities.”

Prof. Babatunde Omobowale, Director of UI DLC, stated that the Centre has increased access to quality education for working professionals, entrepreneurs, and people living in remote areas.

According to him, the UI ODL has served as a beacon of hope for those seeking higher education despite physical or logistical constraints.

He stated that UI DLC remained part of UI and that one of the benefits of ODL was that candidates did not have to sit for the UTME before being admitted to the University of Ibadan.
