Tax Expert Advocates Embracing Biblical’s 10 Commandments As Global Code Of Ethics For Peace
Morenike Babington-Ashaye, President of the International Centre for Tax Research and Development (ICTRD), has urged Nigerians and the rest of the world to accept the Biblical Ten Commandments as a code of ethics for a peaceful world.
She advised while presenting her book, ‘Natural World Restoration,’ an inspirational book written with the guidance of God, adding that the revelation on the natural world and God’s directives to humanity represent the way God intended for our existence on earth and that God declared seven years (2024–2030) after which the natural world would have been restored.
“The directives of God also emphasise that no matter how long an evil deed is committed, God’s judgement and punishment are unavoidable.”
Babington-Ashaye, a chartered accountant and tax specialist, also stated that a new dawn has arrived, with God taking control of the world in January 2024.
According to her, God had planned a peaceful, happy, and prosperous world free of pain, sorrow, and misfortunes, but the majority of the people’s ignorance of God’s requirements for a peaceful world, particularly the principles and practice of the Ten Commandments, had caused hardship.
According to her, the book is divided into fourteen chapters that cover topics such as global governance, continents, nations, and communities, the sanctity of marriage, family, religion, code of ethics, poverty eradication, illicit acts, and many more.
“To the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind, I formally present this book to the world and all its continents – Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Antarctica—the heads and governments of nations around the world, the elders, and other global citizens.
In the book, she stated that the world will be divided into ten continents, with the elders in the affected continents dividing, and that the political structure will be based on two levels of administration: national and community.
“There is no need for the pomp and ceremony associated with modern politics. Citizens dictate to the government how they want their money spent. Gender inclusivity is required, with five women chosen or elected for every five men.”
While relating the book’s content to Nigeria and other nations in a similar situation, she stated that God said kings, queens, and politicians would not rule again, so we should begin to confront the current political system and embrace what God directed before the year 2030.
