Tuface Says He Remains Relevant In Nigeria’s Music Industry
Despite the rise of new Afrobeats artists, musical icon 2Baba claims he is still relevant in the music industry.
He acknowledged the sacrifices he and his peers had made to propel Afrobeats to its current global prominence.
He advised young artists to trust the process, build a loyal fan base, and avoid being overly ambitious.
He used Burna Boy’s journey as an example, highlighting his gradual transition from small venues to selling out iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden.
2Baba stated that success is a long-term process, and he remains committed to making good music, demonstrating his lasting impact on the industry.”Burna Boy sells out Madison Square Garden, and other artists believe they are on the same level. And that is unrealistic.
“He understands what he went through to get to where he is today, and you must go through the entire process. Burna Boy did not suddenly sell out Madison Square Garden; it was a long process.
“He began by touring small venues and grew a large following from there. And you can see the results right now. The process is the same. We are part of the sacrificers, the instrumental process [laughs]. Nation
