Reginald Ebere, Hollywood Filmmaker, Begins His Final Journey

Reginald Onyenso Jamike Ebere, the late Nollywood screen playwright, producer, and director, will be laid to rest today, Thursday, July 4th, 2024, in Lagos.

According to the programme released by his family, a song and wake-keeping service will be held in his honour at 4 p.m. on July 4, 2024, at the Surulere Local Government Area, Onilegogoro, Surulere, Lagos State.

Another wake is planned for Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Silas Echewodo Ebere’s compound in Okpuala, Umuomainta, Mbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North LGA, Abia State.

His remains would be laid to rest the next day, Thursday, July 11, 2024, following a funeral service at the same location.

Reginald Ebere passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Lagos, following a lengthy illness. He was 57 years old.
