PDP Emevor Ward Hails Oborevwori On Road Construction, Appointments
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Emevor Ward 7, in Delta State’s Isoko North Local Government Area, voted in favour of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Wednesday, praising the state’s infrastructure development, particularly the Emevor-Orogun road in the community.
The vote of confidence was taken during a meeting of PDP Emevor Leaders, Elders, and Stakeholders held at the country home of Dr Paul Oweh, Chairman of Delta State Hospitals Management Board, HMB.
Mr Sylvester Ifode, a former Ward Councillor, moved the motion, which was seconded by Deacon Festus Okah, Secretary General of the Emevor Progress Union (EPU).
At the meeting to discuss the party’s and Emevor kingdom’s future, they praised Governor Oborevwori for his effective leadership and infrastructural development across the state, particularly the construction of Phase 1 of the Emevor-Orogun Road in the community and the Ughelli-Asaba Road dualisation project.
The party expressed excitement at the prospect of opening the road on the first anniversary of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.
They urged the Governor to consider awarding the second phase of the project, which will extend road construction to five villages in the Kingdom and Orogun Town in the Ughelli North Local Government Area.
