Nollywood ‘Bad Boy’, Zubby Finally Mourns Late Colleaque, Junior Pope
Zubby Michael, one of Nollywood’s ‘bad boys’, has finally succumbed to pressure and paid tribute to his late colleague, Junior Pope.
Despite a flood of tributes from fellow actors, Zubby maintained a noticeable silence.
Angela Okorie previously expressed her dissatisfaction with him, accusing him of jealousy and selfishness.
On Thursday, April 18, Zubby responded to those who questioned his apparent lack of public mourning or tribute posts on Instagram.
He posted a video on his page with the caption, “Make una rest no be by posting,” implying that social media tributes should not be the sole indicator of mourning.
Responding to mounting pressure, the 39-year-old actor posted a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram page on Thursday.
He conveyed the profound difficulty of saying goodbye to a beloved friend, accompanied by a touching photo of Junior Pope.
He wrote: “It is difficult to say RIP, Nwanne.”
